Born out of the underground Ballroom scene of the 1960’s in New York City, Voguing is an essential art form of the LGBTQ community to tell their stories. Archie Burnett was raised in Brooklyn, New York and is a self-taught club dancer. He is a founding member of the House of Ninja, created by vogue master and “Paris Is Burning” documentary star Willi Ninja. along with Jose Ztravaganza Archie loves to remind his eager students it’s all about posing for the camera. He demonstrates every movement on the balls of his bare feet, to resemble dancing in high heels.  By Patrick Shannon.
